What Makes You Smile?

There is absolutely nothing wrong with sticking with a good thing! My husband and I recently visited Silver Lake Winery and found that they have stayed with that typical table wine flavor. I have to say that my favorite was the Silver Lake cabernet reserve.  However, we were introduced to Glenn Fiona Basket Press Syrah and we found that it is the kind of wine that puts that smile of satisfaction on the first taste and really that is how you should judge all wine.

We all have different tastes and smells, so when we achieve that immediate smile of satisfaction and that instant of reverence — that is your taste, your wine.  I always say that it doesn’t matter if the bottle is eight dollars or eight hundred, if it puts a smile on your face then that bottle belongs to you!  I would love to sample that perfect bottle of wine that makes you smile.
